
Military Service: Achieved Rank of Lt Colonel (O-5).
I began in the United States Air Force Reserves (USAFR) 1993-1995. I then was accepted to Active Duty at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX 1995-1999 as a Mental Health Nurse and Case Manager.
I attended Flight School at Brooks AFB, TX and was awarded Flight Nurse wings, then returned to March ARB, CA as a Flight Nurse 1999-2006.
I was deployed in 2003 and flew 3 missions to/from Iraq during OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (served as Flight Clinical Coordinator at Ramstein AFB, Germany). I was awarded the Commendation Medal.
I served in the position of Chief Nurse at the clinic at March ARB, Moreno Valley, CA 2006-2008.
I joined AMVETS in 2016 and have served as Judge Advocate 2017-2018, 2nd Vice Commander 2019-2020, Adjutant 2020-Present).
I was appointed to AMVETS Service Foundation in 2019 for a position that was vacated.
In 2020 I was elected for a three (3) year commitment as Southern California Director and also serve as Secretary. I am a life member of Military Officers Association (MOAA), and The American Legion.
In my civilian life I have one daughter, Christine and two Grandchildren, Sophia 20 and Gracie 18. I have a Master’s Degree in Nursing and maintain my CA RN license, I am currently retired. I was a Registered Massage Therapist and Reiki Master.
I graduated and received a Practitioners license for the Centers for Spiritual Living and the Emerson Theological Institute in 2021 and I am a minister through the Universal Life Church. I am a Certified Life Coach.
I am passionate about being of service and aiding in healing for all. I believe community keeps people/Veterans connected, healthy and deeply impacts our well-being. I am deeply committed to performing at the highest level I am able and to enhance my education and abilities and to remain aware of my limitations (able to laugh at myself).
