Karina Guzman, Program Manager, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and has specialized studies in Nonprofit Management from University of California, Irvine. She has been devoted to AMVETS since June 2012 when she began as an Assistant Store Manager at the Long Beach thrift store and in 2013 joined the Welcome Home Program staff. Ms. Guzman focuses on community partnerships and the logistics of collecting and distributing furniture, appliances, and household items to veterans enrolled in the Department of Housing and Urban Development – Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program, and has personally overseen hundreds of Welcome Home deliveries. She is a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success and an AMVETS life member.
