I was born in Exeter, CA on January 17, 1951, and married Betty Ensminger in 1969. We currently reside in Tulare CA. We have a son, a daughter, and five grandchildren.
I entered the United States Air Force in 1971 and was selected for the supply career field. I was stationed in Montana, Germany and Georgia. I was then selected to attend officer training school and after my commission was stationed in California, Italy, United Kingdom and Washington DC. I retired at the Rank of Captain in November 1994. After retirement I owned and operated a small business in Visalia, CA for 19 years.
My civic associations include: the Tulare County Sheriff’s Posse, serving as President for 6 years; the United States Marshals Posse, serving as President for 3 years; AMVETS lifetime member, serving on the AMVETS Post 56 Honor Guard since 2020. I was elected to the AMVETS Service Foundation as the CFO in July 2022 and elected to the Tulare Memorial District Board as a Director in November 2022.
